Rumson-Fair Haven Basketball Coach - 'The Girls Do It All'

Longtime Rumson-Fair Haven basketball coach reached a milestone earlier this week when the girls basketball team handed him his 626th career victory, according to Shore Sports Network.

The team trounced Raritan 66-23 on Tuesday. Sourlis gave all the credit to his players.

“This is a program win, not a George Sourlis win,” he told Shore Sports Network. “This means the players have won more games for me than any other players have won for any other coach. I don’t shoot. I don’t rebound. I don’t defend. The girls do it all. I’m just the beneficiary of 29 years of hard work by so many different people, and I want to thank them all.”
