Animation 101/201 and VideoGame 101/201
9 am – 12 pm 
In Animation, students explore the basics of animation production using techniques of creating a character, using frames, tweening and onionskin. The final product will be a basic animation produced entirely by the student. In VideoGame students learn the basics/fundamentals of game making. Starting out with a brick breaker style game, kids learn how to create sprites and objects, then they code the objects to bring the game to life. Once we have the basics down they evolve their game with power ups and multiple levels of increasing difficulty. We then take what we learned with our first game and apply it to a platform style game (ex: super mario bros.), where kids create characters that can jump, fall and attack. Cost is $375 Half Day.

Minecraft Open Play and Stop Motion
1 pm – 4 pm 
In this camp, students will get to play the popular Minecraft game where they build in creative mode. After building on the computer, they will bring those skills to the Stop Motion class where they will work together to design, direct and produce their own stop motion animation movie. Students learn the basics of using a video camera as well as animation and movie-making. The class concludes with a red carpet premiere! Cost is $325 Half Day.
