Summer Camp: Week 11

Summer Camp Week 11 : August 25th – August 29th (Ages 6 – 9). Call the studio at 732-212-1088 to register. 

Create-A-Cartoon and Animation 101/201
9 am – 12 pm 
In Animation, students will explore the basics of animation production using techniques of setting up a character, using frames, tweening and onionskin. The final product will be a basic animation created entirely by the student. In the Create-A-Cartoon portion, students will work together to dream up an original story that will be turned into a 2-3 minute movie. They will journey through the production process while developing characters, backgrounds, props, scripts and music. The class concludes with a red carpet premiere of their cartoon movie! Cost is $375 Half Day.

Video Production and Music Production 101/201
1 pm – 4 pm 
Video Production is designed as an introduction to the filmmaking, this course will give students a basic understanding of how to capture and download video into an editing software program. Students will be responsible for shooting their own video. A basic understanding of storyboarding will be discussed during the first couple classes but ultimately this class’s focus is on the technical. Each student will complete one short film. In Music Production, students will learn the basics to creating music on a computer, first gaining an understanding of basic music theory concepts. Students will then use computer software to take a hands-on approach and piece prerecorded music tracks and instruments to create songs. No prior music education is required for this class. Cost is $400 Half Day.
