KidGooRoo parents can send a kid to Boys and Girls Clubs of Monmouth County summer camp just by writing reviews of kids' extracurriculars

KIDGOOROO HELPS PARENTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN LOCAL KIDS' LIVES
Your two-cents can pay some meaningful dividends for a deserving kid this summer. KidGooRoo, the leading source of information on kids' extracurricular activities, is translating parent reviews into cash to send Monmouth County kids to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County summer camp.
For every review logged now through June, KidGooRoo is donating $2 toward a local child's summer camp tuition.

KidGooRoo, founded in 2016 by two Rumson/Fair Haven moms, is a free online resource to enable parents to read reviews written by other parents in their own community, parse through the information and make informed decisions about which extracurricular activity is right for their child.
"Statistics have shown that there is a direct correlation between the success of a child in school and participation in activities outside of school," explains KidGooRoo co-founder Cathy Goldin, Fair Haven.

"KidGooRoo is dedicated to ensuring extracurricular activities are available to all children, not just those who can afford them," Cathy continues. "This partnership, like other KidGooRoo Kares initiatives, is designed to bridge the gap, and help underprivileged kids find success in all areas of their lives."
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County has a long history of providing disadvantaged kids with quality experiences that foster leadership, character, fitness, and the arts, explained KidGooRoo cofounder Alex Skove, Rumson. "We share the same core values, so this partnership was a natural."
Each time a parent writes a review, KidGooRoo sends $2 toward the already discounted $50/week cost of sending a child to full-day BGCM summer camp. A typical family with two children, who participate in three activities per year, could review the last several years' of programs and actually send a kid to camp for a week.
Parents can log reviews onto www.kidgooroo.com/fundraiser/b... , where a live counter tracks how many local kids are being sent to camp.
"Families in our community are in desperate need of a fun, engaging, and safe summer camp experience for their children," says Doug Eagles, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County. "Every summer we offer programs that combat summer learning loss, foster positive relationships, and develop healthy life skills in our kids. We are so grateful that KidGooRoo is enabling us to offer this experience to even more children this year."
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County is a private non-profit organization that works to empower all young people -- especially those who need it most -- to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. BGCM's two facilities in Red Bank and Asbury Park serve more than 1,800 kids and teens who come from the most difficult circumstances in the county.
