SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ — New Year's Eve is fast approaching and many may choose to stay home while others will travel to their local watering hole to ring in 2018.

With that in mind, here are the highest-rated bars in and around the Scotch Plains and Fanwood area, according to Yelp.

Darby Road - 450 Park Ave., Scotch Plains

• “This was my first experience with onion soup dumplings and they were very enjoyable.”
