SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — There is an urgent need for blood donors after more than 70 drives were canceled over coronavirus concerns in New Jersey and New York, according to New Jersey Blood Services, a division of New York Blood Center.

As of Wednesday more than 70 blood drives have canceled with a loss of over 4,000 units of blood because of Coronavirus concerns.
