Achieve your goals at the Y in the New Year
Registration for Winter programs begins December 19

Find where you belong and reach your potential at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) this winter. The team at the Y is excited to support you as you work toward your goals - whether it's to build strength, try new classes, meet new people in your community, or just to have fun.
The Y’s Winter Program Session runs from January 2-February 26, 2023. Program registration begins Monday, December 19 at 9:00am and is open to active FSPY members. Not a Y member? Learn about the benefits of YMCA membership and join online at fspymca.org/join-the-Y.

Youth Gymnastics: The Y’s caring teachers encourage each gymnast to progress at their own pace – whether their goal is to someday be a competitive gymnast or just to have fun. This Winter, there will be classes for toddlers through teens at varying levels.
Youth Dance: The Y’s dance program for kids ages 3 and up is aimed at introducing participants to different techniques, building or enhancing skills and having fun! Classes include the Y’s popular Gymnastics/Dance Combo!
Youth Sports: This winter, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y is offering sports of all sorts! For preschoolers, there's All Star Sports and Gym Ninja; for school age kids, there's Ninja Warrior and Floor Hockey, and for teens, there's the Y‘s Volleyball Program. Plus, Tae Kwon Do is back!
Youth and Family Specialty Programs: Parents can enjoy a night out without the kids, while the kids have a blast at the Y with the Kids Night Out program, held the second Friday of each month, October through June. And new this year: Family Fun Nights, held on the first Friday of each month, include a variety of activities such as games, arts and crafts, fitness, sports, and more, for quality family-time fun.
Preschool Programs: Kids ages 3-5 can enjoy Cooking in the USA, in which they will celebrate America’s regional tastes by making a new dish each week. Or, they can try Recycle and Create and make fun projects while reducing, reusing and recycling.
Health and Safety classes: The Y continues to offer American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED courses, along with a variety of Lifeguarding courses. These programs are open to Y members and members of the community.
In addition to the above highlights, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y continues to offer programs and services included with full membership including: group exercise classes for all fitness levels and interests; lap swimming and water walking lanes; family swim; select adult sports programs; open gym; special events, and more. Plus, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y now has a virtual wellness platform that members can access anytime, anywhere!
