American Flag Stolen From Scotch Plains Home
Scotch Plains also reported making multiple arrests on charges of driving under the influence, marijuana possession and warrants.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — An American flag was reportedly stolen from the front of a Scotch Plains home.
On Jan. 26, a resident in the 2000 block of Portland Avenue reported that sometime overnight someone stole an American flag from the front of their house. This remains under investigation., Scotch Plains Police said.

On Jan. 22: Grover F. Mayo, 27, of Plainfield was arrested on active warrants out of Bloomfield and
Newark during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Rolando Rodriguez. Mayo was taken to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 23: Jonathan M. Sanchez, 29, of Bound Brook was arrested on an active warrant out of Ocean Township during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Sgt. Dave Lavery. Sanchez was taken to headquarters and processed.

On Jan. 23: Salem Ahmed, 46, of Plainfield was arrested on an active warrant out of Plainfield
during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Zack VonLangen. Ahmed was taken to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 25: Thomas A. Masterson, 41, of Scotch Plains was arrested on an active warrant out of Plainfield during an investigation conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Masterson was taken to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 25: Chanetta A. Williams, 29, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Williams was taken to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 26: Angela J. Foster-Barnes, 52, of Somerset was arrested for driving under the influence
during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Foster-Barnes was taken to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 26: Fabian F. Fisher, 41 of Irvington was arrested on an active warrant out of Mountainside during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Fisher was taken to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 27: Ronald W. Allen, 41, of Plainfield was arrested on an active warrant out of Newark
during a suspicious person’s investigation conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Allen was taken to headquarters and processed.
