American Red Cross Babysitting Course

Now available at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA and open to the community

The American Red Cross babysitting certification and training course is for participants ages 11-15. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to children and infants.

Although every situation is unique, there are some universal babysitting skills and techniques that every babysitter should have. The American Red Cross courses were designed with this principle in mind and can help you deliver the care that families need. Just a few of the things the babysitting classes cover include:

Wednesday, April 10, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Active FSPY members can register online at fspymca.org/register under “Daxko Program Registration.”

Community members can create a non-member account at fspymca.org/join-the-y to register online or register at the FSPY Welcome Center, 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains.
