'Party In The Park' Community Event Returns to Fanwood This Week

FANWOOD, NJ — A family-friendly summer event in Fanwood is returning to La Grande Park on Thursday.

The "Party in the Park" event will be held on June 25 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will offer games, food, live entertainment and other activities for the whole family.

Other highlights of the event include:

• Fitness activities, crafts, and giveaways from the YMCA.
• A karate demonstration by the Family Martial Arts Center of Scotch Plains-Fanwood.
• Prize giveaways
• a "Happy 250th" scavenger hunt
• Kids' Music Round with Ms. Sheila.

Residents are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy Zootopia 2 after the event concludes.

Fanwood has made the rain date to be scheduled for June 30.
