SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ —The Scotch Plains Police Department will host its annual National Night Out event on August 4.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Park Avenue in Scotch Plains.
The community event is designed to bring residents together with local law enforcement while promoting neighborhood unity, safety, and community engagement.
This year's theme emphasizes being “Stronger Together” and “Safer Together.”
Attendees can enjoy an evening of family-friendly activities, including music, food, games, giveaways, and additional entertainment.
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that encourages positive relationships between police departments and the communities they serve.
Organizers invite residents to come out, meet their neighbors, and support the local community during the event.
The event is hosted by the Scotch Plains Police Department and is open to community members of all ages.
