SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — The first performance of Scotch Plains' Summer Concert Series has been rescheduled to next week following inclement weather earlier in the week.
The series was scheduled to kick off on Thursday, July 9, with Soul Seduction, performing R&B favorites. They will now perform on Thursday, July 16.
The concert series will feature two free outdoor performances at Alan M. Augustine Village Green (430 Park Ave).
The second concert will take place on Thursday, July 23, featuring Alden Street, a band performing hits from the 1960s and 1970s.
The evening will also serve as Volunteer Appreciation Night. If needed, the rain date is July 30.
Both concerts begin at 7 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
The concert series is supported by Suplee, Clooney & Company, Caffrey Tree & Landscape, and Pascack Data Services, Inc.
