SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — The Osborn Cannonball House Museum will open its doors to the public on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m., offering visitors a chance to explore Scotch Plains' Revolutionary War history during America's 250th Anniversary celebration.

Located at 1840 Front Street, the circa-1750 home was once owned by the Osborn family, whose sons fought in the American Revolution. Costumed docents will lead free guided tours and share stories about the home's history and Scotch Plains' role in the nation's founding.
