The Scotch Plains Volunteer Rescue Squad adheres to the motto "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." Now, it's offering free classes to allow others in the community to do the same.
Starting this month, two lifesaving classes will be offered on four different Saturdays:
September 5, October 3, November 7 and December 5
Stop the Bleed will take place between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, followed by Naloxone Training from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Participants are welcome to take one session or both.
All classes will take place at the Squad building at 1916 Bartle Avenue.
To register, go to the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad Facebook page and scan the QR code on the class poster, or scan the one above.
