FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood is getting ready to celebrate its four-legged crowd, and dog lovers have just over a week to make plans for FanWoof Day.
The Borough of Fanwood announced Thursday that FanWoof Day will run from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 4, at the North Side Train Station, 238 North Avenue.
The borough said the gathering is a celebration of Fanwood's dogs and the people who love them. Activities include a DJ, Museum of the Dog, visits by Bluey and Paw Patrol, faux pet "adoptions" by Creative Twist and selfie opportunities.
The costume parade will give dogs another chance to get in on the action. Sign-up begins at 11 a.m., followed by the parade at 11:30 a.m. Prizes are also planned as part of the costume parade.
