As Election Day approaches, every resident of Scotch Plains has an opportunity to help shape the future of our community.
Local elections often have a direct impact on our quality of life, including public safety, taxes, roads, recreation programs, parks, senior services, and the future development of our town. Yet local elections typically see far lower turnout than national races.
With just 34 days remaining until Election Day, I encourage every eligible voter to make a plan now. Verify your registration, learn about the candidates and issues, and decide whether you will vote by mail, during early voting, or on Election Day.
Regardless of political party or candidate preference, participation strengthens our community. Every vote matters, and every voice deserves to be heard.
Let's demonstrate that Scotch Plains is a town where civic engagement is valued and neighbors take an active role in shaping our future.
See you at the polls.
