In a press release from Provident Bank: Janet Krasowski of Scotch Plains has been named executive vice president and chief human resources officer at The Provident Bank. In this position, she is responsible for strategic resources planning and overall management of the bank’s human resource department. She also serves on the bank’s executive leadership team.
Krasowski has more than 30 years of banking industry experience. Before joining Provident, she was senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Atlantic Bank of New York. Earlier, she worked at Dime Savings Bank as senior vice president and benefits director, and as senior vice president and human resources director at American Savings Bank.
Krasowski received a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Brooklyn College/CUNY and holds a master’s degree in industrial relations and human resources management from Pace University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the New Jersey Bankers Human Resources Committee.
