Attempted Home Burglary Reported In Scotch Plains
A ground floor window screen was damaged in the process, police report.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — An attempted burglary was reported recently at a Scotch Plains home.
On Sunday, April 28, Scotch Plains Police Officers went to the 1900 block of Mountain Avenue on a report of an attempted home burglary.
A ground floor window screen was damaged. Entry was not gained to the home, police report.

On April 28: Cesar D. Barahona-Carrera, 24, of Plainfield was arrested for driving under the
influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Barahona-Carrera was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 29: Caroline V. Acosta, 28, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of marijuana during a
motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Acosta also had active warrants out of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department and North Brunswick. Acosta was transported to headquarters and processed.
