Join fellow community members for “Oscar Worthy Scores” on Fridays at noon in August!

August 2: Dunkirk (PG-13, 105 min)--WWII thriller about the evacuation of Dunkirk, France, in which 400,000 Allied troops were rescued following a catastrophic defeat.

August 10: La La Land (PG-13, 128 min)--An actress and a jazz musician pursue their Hollywood dreams — and find each other — in a vibrant celebration of hope, dreams, and love.

August 17: The Social Network (PG-13, 120 min)--Mark Zuckerberg creates Facebook, but soon faces lawsuits that threaten his fortune as the friends who helped him rise to the top are now eager to see him fall.

August 24: Gravity (PG-13, 91 min)--Two astronauts find themselves stranded in space after a disastrous accident destroys their shuttle and wipes out the rest of their crew.

August 31: The Artist (PG-13, 100 min)--A silent-movie idol loses his fame and wealth when talkies become the norm, while the actress he adores becomes a Hollywood star.
