Binge Watchers, Rejoice! Library Offers Streaming Video

Acorn TV from Scotch Plains Public Library

If you are a Scotch Plains resident with an adult or young adult resident library card, you can now view Acorn TV and other channels on your devices free of charge. If you are already using the RB Digital app for Scotch Plains Public Library’s e-books, and audio books, you will see the newest streaming content right away. If you are new to RB Digital, just set up an RB Digital account on the library web site, http://www.scotlib.org and then download the free RB Digital app onto your device.

Acorn TV brings world-class mysteries, dramas, and comedies from Britain and beyond to library patrons on any web-connected device through a streaming video service. The Great Courses Library Collection is also available on RBdigital streaming video, providing you with unlimited access to over 150 of the most popular courses taught by the world’s top professors.

In addition, our streaming video offerings include award-winning movies and documentaries from IndieFlix , and Spanish telenovelas and translated Hollywood movies from Pongalo, with more coming soon.

Resident cardholders get 2 logins per week to be used in Acorn, Great Courses, or Pongalo, and each login is good for seven days.

Your Scotch Plains library card also gives you access to a new Comics collection, as well as the StingRay Qello concerts, audio books and e-book collections that have proven popular and continue to expand.
