These stories are not TRUE! Bowcraft is open for the remainder of the 2016 season, and will re-open for the 2017 Season in April of 2017. Also, the property is not sold. The property is owned by the same family since 1995.

We are also excited to partner with PANTOPHOBIA.COM to bring a new Halloween attraction this October. We will be having a Zombiescape Haunted Attraction, and a PumpkinExpress Train Ride.

Bowcraft would like to thank all of our customers, and all the posts on Facebook. Especially those sharing their childhood memories here at Bowcraft. We look forward to creating more childhood memories to come!

Sincerely,
Bowcraft"

Despite Bowcraft's letter, the application is still on the Scotch Plains Planning Board agenda.

Officials of Bowcraft were not immediately available for comment to Patch.
