Burglaries To Garage, Car Reported In Scotch Plains
Scotch Plains Police also reported making arrests for drug possession and outstanding warrants.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Two burglaries to a borough garage and car were reported in Scotch Plains, according to the police blotter.
On Oct. 11: A resident on Westfield Avenue reported a motor vehicle burglary. Victim stated his vehicle was parked on Ridgeview Avenue near the intersection of Westfield Avenue when he noticed the vehicle had been entered and ransacked. This is under investigation.
On Oct. 15: A burglary was reported in the 1900 block of Cooper Road. The property owner stated that numerous items were removed from a detached garage on the property. This is under investigation.

On Oct. 9: The management at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported a criminal mischief. A window was broken by a customer during a verbal dispute regarding the rental of a vehicle. This is under investigation.

On Oct. 10: Dashan L. Green, 27, of Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of South Plainfield during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Dave Belford. Green was transported to headquarters and processed.
On Oct. 11: Aaron M. Brooks, 25, of Plainfield was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Scotch Plains, Springfield and Plainfield during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Officer Melissa Rivera. Brooks was transported to headquarters and processed.
On Oct. 13: Alrahmier R. Johnson, 24, of Kenilworth was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a suspicious motor vehicle investigation conducted by Patrolman Zack VonLangen and Patrolman Bryan Frew. Johnson was transported to headquarters and processed.
On Oct. 15: While on patrol, Patrolman Chris Ostrowski located two juveniles in the bathroom at Farley Park. Both juveniles were taken into protective custody after it was determined they were in possession of marijuana. Transported to headquarters and turned over to their guardians.
