The College Club of Fanwood Scotch Plains invites the public to a free performance on October 19th by Women in Harmony.
Women in Harmony is an all-female choir based in Fanwood, NJ, organized through Fanwood Recreation. Our choir celebrates the power and beauty of women's voices in three-part harmony, performing for the local community at both public and private events. Women in Harmony is the brainchild of Debbie Shapiro, retired music teacher in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood school district; it was formed in September of 2024 and consists of approximately 40 members.
The current collection of songs consists of Broadway and pop music through the decades. This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available after the performance.
The College Club's Community Calendar will be on sale for $10. Please join us and bring a friend. The College Club is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization with a mission to provide financial support through tuition scholarship assistance for women who live in Fanwood or Scotch Plains and are attending an undergraduate program. Our goals focus on educational experiences for our members and the public. Women: please consider joining our membership to make a difference in our community and the women leaders of the future!
