Candy Is Fanwood's Pet Of The Week

FANWOOD, NJ — Meet Candy! She has been chosen as Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Candy Tampusari is from Fanwood. She is a certified pet therapy dog, since May of 2018. She visits Morristown Medical Center as part of their soothing paws pet therapy program and is certified with Creature Comfort Pet Therapy program out of Morris Plains.

She is the love of our life, and is such a sweet loving loyal dog. She brings lots of love and comfort and therapy to those sick, sad, school children and the elderly at assisted living."

Do you think your pet should be Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Scotch Plains-Fanwood Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.

Additionally the chosen Pet of the Week will receive 20 percent off any single item in Dukes's Pet Den in Scotch Plains. And winners can also bring their pet into the store, located at 417 Park Ave., in Scotch Plains for a picture. Duke's will put them up on their Facebook page as well.
