Car Left Running With Keys Inside Stolen In Fanwood
"Residents should always take the key fob with them when their vehicle is left running," Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo said.
FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood Police are warning locals not to leave their vehicles running following a car burglary Wednesday morning.
A Terrill Road resident reported at about 6:25 a.m. that their vehicle was stolen from their driveway while it was warming up. The vehicle's key fob was left inside the vehicle, Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo said.
Police are currently investigating the theft.

"Residents should always take the key fob with them when their vehicle is left running," Trigo said. "Residents are also urged to always lock their vehicles upon parking and not leave any valuables out in plain view."
