Car Left Running Stolen Out Of Scotch Plains
Scotch Plains Police also reported multiple fraud reports and marijuana possession arrests.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A car left running in Scotch Plains was reportedly stolen on Monday, according to police.
A Clark resident said their white 2014 Chrysler Wagon was stolen while working in the area of Country Club Lane, said Scotch Plains police.
The keys were in the ignition with the car running when the resident said they saw a man wearing a blue hoodie and orange vest enter the vehicle and drive away north on Martine Avenue, said police.

On Dec. 1: Frederick Wallace, 52, of Rahway was arrested by Officer Stephanie Roggina during a motor vehicle stop on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Roselle. Wallace was released with a court date.

On Dec. 3: A resident of Westfield Road reports being a victim of fraud. The victim reports someone attempted to file for unemployment benefits under their name.
On Dec. 4: A 51-year-old from North Plainfield was arrested by Officer Gerard Rites for possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop. He was taken to headquarters, processed and released on a summons.
On Dec. 4: A resident of Evergreen Avenue reports being a victim of fraud. The victim reports someone opened a cell phone in their name.
