College Club of F-SP participates in MLK service project

College Club members take part in MLK service project by preparing lunches for St. Joseph Social Center in Elizabeth

85 bag lunches prepared by members of the College Club of Fanwood Scotch Plains are ready to be delivered to the St. Joseph Social Center in Elizabeth on Martin Luther King Day.
85 bag lunches prepared by members of the College Club of Fanwood Scotch Plains are ready to be delivered to the St. Joseph Social Center in Elizabeth on Martin Luther King Day.

Members of the College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains worked together to prepare 85 bag lunches for the St. Joseph Social Center in Elizabeth. The Social Center serves the materially poor and homeless community of greater Elizabeth. The lunches as well as additional fresh fruit and snacks will be delivered to the center on Martin Luther King Day .

The project was coordinated by Cathy Hirschhorn and Connie Salisbury, chairwomen of the club's Community Outreach service group. College Club members participate in and support a community outreach project each month of the year.
