Cooper Is Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet Of The Week

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ — Meet Cooper! He has been chosen as Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Cooper is a two-year-old Beagle mix rescued by Home For Good Dog Rescue on one of their trips to the South Carolina shelters. Cooper is a happy, go-lucky pup who doesn’t run, he bounds. He doesn’t walk, he trots! He has a zest for life and will eat ANYTHING handed to him or that falls on the ground.

He especially loves the açaí and peanut butter bowls from the Soul Bowls Truck. Cooper and his sister Ariel love to howl together in the morning and at night. We only wish we knew what they were saying! We are very blessed to have such a lovable pup to complete our family."

Do you think your pet should be Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Scotch Plains-Fanwood Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.

Additionally the chosen Pet of the Week will receive 20 percent off any single item in Dukes's Pet Den in Scotch Plains. And winners can also bring their pet into the store, located at 417 Park Ave., in Scotch Plains for a picture. Duke's will put them up on their Facebook page as well.
