Criminal Mischief, Warrant Arrest Reported In Fanwood
Fanwood Police reported a man gave a false name to police and was later found to have an active warrant.
FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood Police reported criminal mischief and one arrest recently.
Between Feb. 16 at 11 p.m. and Feb. 17 at 7 a.m.: A resident in the 10 block of Cottage Way reported criminal mischief to his property.
On Feb. 17 at 8:30 a.m.: Officers made a motor vehicle stop at Terrill Road and Mary Lane for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Abraham Quesada, 37, of Manville, had no identification on him and when the Officer asked for his name, he gave a false name. Quesada was arrested and charged with hindering his own apprehension by giving a false name. There is also an active warrant out of Plainfield. Quesada was processed, posted bail and released pending his court appearance.
