Driver Assaulted During Road Rage Incident In Scotch Plains: Cops
A car parked on Rivervale Court reportedly had a tire slashed as well, according to the Scotch Plains Police blotter.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A driver was assaulted during a road rage incident in the township recently, according to the Scotch Plains Police blotter.
On July 22, a New York resident reported a road rage incident on Park Avenue.
During the incident, the suspect described as a short heavyset Black woman exited her vehicle, assaulted the victim and stole her cell phone, according to police.

On July 21: An 18-year-old from Plainfield was arrested for hindering apprehension and possession of marijuana during a pedestrian stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar and Patrolman Rich Sopko. The teen was taken to headquarters and processed.

suspicious motor vehicle investigation conducted by Patrolman Joe Mirabile. The driver was taken to headquarters and processed.
On July 27: A resident on Country Club Lane reported fraudulent activity on a bank account. This remains under investigation.
On July 27: A resident on Hill Road reported the theft of several packages from his front steps. This remains under investigation.
