SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ — Nov. 2 is the general election and voters will be heading out to the polls to vote.

In Scotch Plains and Fanwood there are four ways to vote: at a polling location, using a secure dropbox, mailing your ballot back or hand-delivering it to your local board of elections.

Where Can I Vote?

In-person polling locations for Scotch Plains and Fanwood can be found through this link from the county - unioncontyvotes.com.

Located in front of the Scotch Plains Public Library, 1927 Bartle Ave., Scotch Plains and Fanwood Memorial Library, 5 Forest Road, Fanwood.

The boxes are all outside and under surveillance 24/7. They resemble a USPS Blue Mailbox, but are Red, White & Blue and display "Union County – Official Ballot Drop Box."

The Vote-By-Mail ballots (VBMs) will be picked up on a daily basis and brought to the Board of Elections. All security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the VBMs, officials said.
