Every year cyclist and walkers come together to lend their support to raise funds to benefit the ongoing efforts of the StreetLight Mission. This year the tradition continues - on May 19, 2012 from 8 am - 4 pm StreetLight Mission is hosting the third annual Ride/Walk for the Mission.
Because the event is underwritten by generous sponsors, every donation goes to fund the work of StreetLight Mission. This valued community outreach center helps people restore their lives and journey towards wholeness through high-quality, cost effective programs and services. They provide groceries, clothing, andsubstance abuse recovery programs as well as many other things.
This year’s event promises to be a fun filled day boasting choices of four different bike courses and two walking courses. The beautiful routes are designed to be fun for the casual riders as well as challenging for those competitive riders. All the routes will have rest stops that will be stocked with water, energy drinks,fresh fruit and sandwiches. At the venue there will be plenty of food, livemusic, and children’s games & activities and inflatables.

The event kicks off at 1251 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains, New Jersey. To participate in the event, register at www.RideForTheMission.org.
Registration Prior to May 18th - $25 Adults (16 years and older), Children $10, Babies (2 and under) Free.

Registration After May 17th - $40 Adults (16 years and older), Children $10, Babies (2 and under) Free.
Registrants are asked to raise funds from their family and friends to help support the Mission. Every registered participant receives a t-shirt, water bottle and event bracelet. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers for teams and individual fundraisers as well as other categories. Check out the website for more information.
