The Scotch Plains Public Library's Evening Book Club will discuss Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan on Monday, October 15 at 7pm. New members are always welcome. Registration is not required for this event.

Summary: Years after accompanying her father to a meeting with Dexter Styles, nineteen-year-old Anna, who now works at the Brooklyn Naval Yard, encounters Dexter and begins to understand her father’s complex life and why he disappeared.
