Fanwood Library Begins Curbside Pickup Monday

Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Friday that libraries can begin to provide contact-less pickup for library materials amid the coronavirus.

FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood Memorial Library will be reopening for curbside pickup on Monday following its closure due to the coronavirus.

Fanwood patrons can place up to five holds at a time on books and DVDs through the online catalog or by calling the library to speak to a staff member. Patrons are asked not to leave a message requesting a hold.

Patrons will be notified by email or phone when their holds are available. Once notified, patrons must call the library to reserve a pickup time.

Holds can be picked up in the lobby at the reserved time. The checkout period begins at the reserved pickup time. Patrons must wear a mask during pickup.

The new library hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30 to 4 p.m.
