Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA 12Us Swimmers Dominate at States

The New Jersey YMCA 12 Under State Championships were held on February 21 - 23, 2025 at the Ocean County YMCA in Toms River, NJ.

The FSPY Piranhas kicked off preparing for states with a pasta party held at the Y followed by a few days of intense practices.

Only the top swimmers who made state times in various swimming events are eligible to participate, making the championship a highly competitive and exciting event for the swimmers and their families. Only 32 elite swimmers from FSPY competed. They were:

In addition to these outstanding times, Milan Fevrier shattered some records. Her 50 Free time of 25.05, her 100 Free time of 54.40, and her 200 Free time of 2:00:03 are all team records!

As an added bonus on top of an outstanding performance, FSPY Girls came in 2nd place overall!
