Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Hosted 2023 First Frost Invitational Meet

Nine teams and almost 400 swimmers took part in the 2023 First Frost Invitational Meet hosted by the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) at the Jersey Aquatic Center in New Providence, New Jersey on Sunday, October 29th. Led by returning meet director Shannon Frank, meet referee Simon Lee and entry coordinator Taewoo Chung, this annual meet for 12-and-under swimmers proved to be another successful event for FSPY. The meet was made possible through a tremendous volunteer effort by the FSPY swim team families, as well as FSPY’s 13-and-over swimmers who assisted with timing, marshalling and handing out the coveted heat winner duckies.

FSPY was represented by 85 of its swimmers in the 12-and-under age categories with several swimmers achieving best times at this meet. Here are the top 16 finishers in the individual events in their respective age groups and the top 3 relay teams:
