Fanwood Woman Seriously Injured During Alleged Assault: Cops
The woman was taken to a local hospital for emergency medical care following the alleged assault at her home Wednesday morning, police say.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A Fanwood woman suffered serious injuries following an alleged assault at her home Wednesday morning, according to Captain Kevin Grimmer, the officer-in-charge of the Fanwood Police Department.
Shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, police were called to a private residence on McDermott Place where they found an injured adult woman and an adult man, according to the preliminary investigation.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for emergency medical care, while the man was taken into custody without incident.
