FSPY Swimmers Shine at the 2023 NJ YMCA Silver Championships

Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) swimmers were back in the championship pool at the 2023 YMCA Swimming Silver Championships during the long President’s Day holiday weekend. The 3-day meet from February 17-20 was hosted at Gloucester County Institute of Technology. FSPY joined 24 other YMCA swim teams from across the state. The meet saw fantastic swims with FSPY swimmers taking the championship spots and earning States eligibility cuts.

Swimmers Terry Gould and Milan Fevrier broke meet records over the weekend — Gould in the 13-14 Boys 200 Fly with a time of 2:16.42 and M. Fevrier in the 9-10 Girls 50 Fly with a time of 33.98 and the 100 Fly with a time of 1:19.48.
