Gallery Exhibit & Reception at Scotch Plains Public Library

During October, ScotLib will feature Passions of Life, digital art and photography of local Scotch Plains resident Richard W. Burdett. Richard’s interest in photography began in his youth and has grown artistically over the years, with the development of the digital camera and advances in digital image editing technologies. His photographic images are often his initial “canvas”, and the software technology is the “medium” he uses to create some of his more artistic pieces.

Richard loves donating his art and photography pieces to charities, who in-turn auction them off to raise funding for their organizations. Most of all, he enjoys sharing his work with people and has been known to gift an image to unsuspecting friends and acquaintances.

A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 2pm to 4pm.

The Scotch Plains Public Library is located at 1927 Bartle Avenue, one block from Park Avenue in the center of town.
