Get a head start on school holidays with the Y’s Vacation Full Days

When school’s out, the Y is in! The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA will once again offer its popular Vacation Full Days program for the 2023-2024 School Year. The program is open to kids in grades K-5 on most days that the Scotch Plains-Fanwood public schools are closed for holidays or scheduled vacation days.

Registration for the Vacation Full Days program begins Wednesday July 5 at 9:00am and is open to active members of the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA. Registration can be done online at fspymca.org/register or in-person at the Y’s Welcome Center, located at 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. Not a Y member? “This coming year, we are going to have a blast in our Vacation Full Days program,” said Kate Lizer, the Y’s Director of School Age Child Care & Camp. “Each day has a special theme, including Olympic Day, Rock and Roll Dance Party and Super Hero Adventures, and we’ll even be taking a few trips to destinations like Alstede Farms and Funplex. Plus, each day features free swim!”

The Vacation Full Days program runs from 7:00am-6:30pm each day (unless noted otherwise) and is held at the Y’s main building, 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. View the full Vacation Full Days brochure and learn more at fspymca.org/programs/child-care-camp/vacation-full-days.
