Creating smiles and improving dental health is the name of the game for the group of ladies working at Kind Dental. Located at 1949 Westfield Avenue in Scotch Plains, Kind Dental was created by two general dentists that happen to also be sisters, Dr. Kashfia Vohra and Dr. Karishma Chopra. Both Doctors were raised in New Jersey, extensively trained in the tri-state, and set out to change the lives of their patients with one goal in mind: Kindness. “It is very important to us to feel connected to the community and try to enrich the lives of those around us in more ways than one” says Dr. Vohra when discussing the philosophy behind their approach. “When we created Kind Dental, we simultaneously created an initiative called “Acts of Kindness” that would serve as a pillar for our identity”. Dr. Vohra and Dr. Chopra, along with their team, select volunteering opportunities throughout each year and dedicate their time to helping the community.
During their most recent event, the team volunteered at the Community Food Bank in Hillside, NJ, preparing and packaging food for children and the elderly in need. “Preparing warm meals to help our neighbors was truly a rewarding experience on its own. Spending this invaluable time together with our Kind Dental family makes the experience that much kinder.”
