PLAINFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS SUPERINTENDENT DR.DIANA MITCHELL URGES PARENTS TO FILL OUT THE COVID-19 PARENT SURVEY ISSUED BY THE NJ DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

The survey is related to the opening of schools for the 2020-2021 School Year.

June 3, 2020 - In a letter to parents, the Plainfield Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Diana Mitchell urges parents to fill out the survey issued yesterday by the New Jersey Department of Education.

The survey in English and Spanish includes fourteen questions related to how confident parents feel about sending their children to school in the Fall, wearing masks, transportation, remote learning and access to the internet and access to health and nutrition.

The deadline for parents to fill out the survey is June 8, 2020. The survey is voluntary and may be fill out anonymously. If parents have any questions they may also send an email to the Education Department’s Office of Civic and Social Engagement at civicandsocial@doe.nj.gov.

The links to the survey have been posted on the Plainfield Public School's district website and also on the NJ DOE website and Twitter account.
