Luna Is Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet Of The Week

FANWOOD, NJ — Meet Luna! She has been chosen as Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"We were fortunate to welcome home, our new girl, Luna. Luna is an 8 week Black English lab and she loves to cuddle, sleep, grunt and play! She replaces our girl Roxy, a chocolate lab we lost a year ago who was 15.

We are excited to welcome Luna to our town of Fanwood and can’t wait until she meets some of her fellow furry friends in a few weeks after the vet clears her!"

Do you think your pet should be Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Scotch Plains-Fanwood Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.

Additionally the chosen Pet of the Week will receive 20 percent off any single item in Dukes's Pet Den in Scotch Plains. And winners can also bring their pet into the store, located at 417 Park Ave., in Scotch Plains for a picture. Duke's will put them up on their Facebook page as well.
