Mad Science Returns to the Scotch Plains Public Library for Super Structures

​On Wednesday, July 12 at 4 pm, Mad Science returns to the Scotch Plains Library with the first of two programs for teens in grades 6-10.

On Wednesday, July 12 at 4 pm, Mad Science returns to the Scotch Plains Public Library with the first of two programs for teens going into grades 6-10. Advanced registration is required and will begin on Wednesday, July 5. Attendees must also be registered for the Build a Better World Summer Reading program. Click here to register.

During the Super Structures program, teens will learn the principles of architecture and engineering as they explore structures, the forces behind them, and the shapes and materials that strengthen them. Can these principles be used to construct an earthquake-proof structure?
