686 Remain Without Power In Union County
PSE&G customers in Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Westfield, Plainfield, Roselle, Rahway and Union are still without power following a storm.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Power companies continues to restore power after more than 1,000 homes in Union County were without power as powerful thunderstorms rolled through Central Jersey Tuesday.
Power has been restored to all 350 JCP&L customers in New Providence and in Summit.
As of 6:30 p.m., 686 PSE&G customers remain without power including 307 in Scotch Plains, 147 in Fanwood, 147 in Plainfield, 61 in Westfield, 22 in Roselle and fewer than five in Union and Plainfield.

That is down from the 1,376 PSE&G customers that was initially reported around 3:20 p.m. who were without power.
Customers who lose power can inform JCP&L by using one of the following methods:

- Report the outage online, or
- Report the outage via text message. Text REG to 544487 (LIGHTS) to get started.
