Motor Vehicle Burglaries, Fraud Reported In Scotch Plains

Two motor vehicles were burglarized recently in the township, according to the Scotch Plains Police blotter.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Two motor vehicles were burglarized recently in the township, according to the Scotch Plains Police blotter.

The first burglary was reported on Aug. 8 where a resident in the 400 block of Park Avenue said someone entered their vehicle overnight and stole several items. This remains under investigation, police said.

Another burglary was reported on Monday where a resident on Elizabeth Avenue said someone entered their vehicle overnight and stole several items including credit cards. This remains under investigation, police said.

On Aug. 7: A resident of Kevin Road reported being a victim of online fraud. This remains under investigation.
