Multiple Unlocked Vehicles Burglarized Overnight In Fanwood

The car burglaries happened overnight in the southeast section of the borough, police report.

FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood Police are investigating multiple car burglaries that happened overnight in the southeast section of the borough.

The burglaries were reported between 6 p.m. on Monday and 7 a.m. on Tuesday to vehicles that were left unlocked, Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo said.

Car burglaries are also being reported in surrounding towns, Trigo said.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and to contact the police at 908-322-5000 if they see anything suspicious.
