2.2K Without Power In Union County Tuesday

Breaking: Residents in Westfield, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Springfield, Clark and Berkeley Heights are among those without power.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — More than 2,000 resident across Union County are without power Tuesday night after a severe thunderstorm swept through the area bringing down trees and power lines.

PSE&G reports 2,120 customers without power and JCP&L reports 107 customers without power as of 6:10 p.m. In New Jersey, JCP&L is reporting 65,984 without power and 41,043 PSE&G customers state-wide.

Plainfield reports the largest amount without power with 930 followed by Scotch Plains with 293.

  • Scotch Plains - 298
  • Union - Fewer than 5
  • Westfield - 171
