Scotch Plains, June 13, 2014— Union Catholic High School is pleased to announce that freshman Nicholas Tripodi of Rahway has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Sandra Stagg Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship was established in 2009 by the Stagg family in memory of their daughter Sandra, a member of the Class of 1983 who passed away during her senior year at UC.
The memorial scholarship is presented each year to one ninth grade student who has demonstrated a commitment to academic achievement and has contributed in a positive way to the Union Catholic Community.
