SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ — Meet Noodles! He has been chosen as Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch's Pet Of The Week!

"Hi, this is Noodles and he is from Scotch Plains. He is a double doodle who is currently 3 years old. He is a great big brother to his two year old brother, Asher, and is the heart of our family.

He likes to snuggle, share his brother’s food, and play with his toys. He also likes to hang out on our front lawn, greet the neighbors, and chase cars.

We like to joke that Noodles has a bigger social circle than we do. Everyone in our neighborhood knows and loves Noodles."

Do you think your pet should be Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Scotch Plains-Fanwood Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.

Additionally the chosen Pet of the Week will receive 20 percent off any single item in Dukes's Pet Den in Scotch Plains. And winners can also bring their pet into the store, located at 417 Park Ave., in Scotch Plains for a picture. Duke's will put them up on their Facebook page as well.
